Bio"I hate James Potter. I hate the boy with a passion. Yet the boy insists on bothering me and trying to make me fall in love with him. Mark my words, I will never love that boy."
That's one of my most common rants. Ask my best friend Alice, she'll tell you. She's heard that one and many other similar rants. The boy just doesn't know when to stop. He's so annoying and pig-headed. Have I mentioned I can't stand him?
I'm Lily, by the way. Lily May Evans, daughter of June and Robert Evans. Sister to Petunia Evans. I'm a witch, but my parents and my sister aren't. I'm what they call a muggleborn witch. Most Slytherins call me a mudblood, it means 'dirty blood.' They consider muggles filthy and therefore, muggleborn wizards and witches must be the same.
I got my Hogwarts letter when I was eleven. I was shocked and excited. Well, not entirely shocked. A friend of mine, Severus Snape, always told me I was a witch, but Petunia always told me to stay away from him. My parents were proud of me when I got my letter and my sister... well... she considers me a freak. I really don't care. Once I arrived at Hogwarts my first year, I was sorted into Gryffindor. That's where I met my best friends Alice Prewett.
During my time at Hogwarts, I proved to learn and catch on to things quickly. I was smart and I followed the rules. Despite this, I was still placed in Gryffindor over Ravenclaw. Now in my seventh year, I'm Head Girl and I just found out James is Head Boy. Why on earth did he get Head Boy? I respect Professor Dumbledore. Really, I do. But James? Seriously?
My best class is Potions, Professor Slughorn constantly tells me I should be in his house, Slytherin, instead of Gryffindor. Personally, I disagree. I hate the Slytherins with a passion. Except Severus. Yes, my childhood friend is a Slytherin, but we're still friends to this day.
I'm a redhead and that shows through in my personality. Yes, I have what could be considered a fiery personality and a very hot temper. In short, you really don't want to mess with me.
